Abstract:

Recent ALMA observations revealed the existence of a huge amount of dust in very high-redshift Universe. Some previous studies claimed that such amount of dust cannot be explained with a current galaxy evolution theory because the cosmic age is too short. However, if we properly take into account the dust grain growth in the interstellar medium, we can show that such high-redshift galaxies can have enough dust to fit the observations. We show the latest result on this study.
