Lessons at the MARIA reactor

NCBJ invites organized groups to sightsee MARIA, the sole research nuclear reactor operated in Poland.

Basic information

persons of minimum 11 years age will be admitted only
group guardian must confirm in advance group arrival (by phone)
all group members must be listed on the form attached to the Sightseeing the MARIA reactor webpage
additionally list of foreigners who are going to come within the group (given name, surname, address,country, pass number) must be supplied to NCBJ Education & Training Division not later than 1 week ahead.

Reactor sightseeing rules

Sightseeing excursions are subrodinate to reactor operation schedule – we reserve the right to re-schedule any already booked excursion should such need arise. All booked groups will be informed by phone as soon as possible.
Sightseeing excursions are not organized during recator overhaul periods.
Depending on week day and detailed programme of visit to NCBJ number of persons in a group may not exceed 20 or 30.
MARIA may be visited Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm.
