Abstract: 

Selection of a method to determine Radium 226 and Radium 228 in potable water will be discussed. The selected method and results of analysis of some standards will be presented. Some identified problems and the found solutions will be outlined. The reported works have been done in the Contamination Measurements Team of the Radiation Protection Measurements Lab.
