The National Center for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) is one of the bigest research institutes in Poland. Wide research activity takes place at NCBJ, especially basic research in nuclear physics and related fields, reactor research and development of nuclear fuel, safety of nuclear installations and many others.

Currently, we are looking for a person for a position of:

Physicist

at Theoretical Physics Division (BP2)

Work location: Warsaw, Pasteura Str. 7

Role and Responsibilities:

Conducting research in the fields:

• Quantum gravity
• Quantum matter fields on quantum spacetime
• Cosmology and black holes
• Quantum information

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in theoretical physics and expertise in quantum field & gravity problems.

Additional assets:

• knowledge of foundations of quantum theory
